Reefer · Flatbed · Step Deck — cross-border & domestic

Freight Services

Reefer, flatbed and step-deck capacity.

Choose the equipment your freight needs — we run all three trailer types cross-border on the U.S.–Canada corridor and domestic across Canada, with the same standard of communication and care on every load.

How To Choose

Spec the trailer to the freight.

Not sure? We’ll spec it

Most loads sort themselves out fast: if it needs to stay cold, it’s a reefer; if it’s steel, lumber, machinery or anything loaded from the side or top, it’s a flatbed; if it’s too tall to ship legally on a flatbed, it’s a step deck. The grey areas are where a quick conversation saves you money.

Because we are an asset-based carrier — our trucks, our trailers, our drivers — the capacity we quote on any of the three is capacity we actually control. You get one carrier and one point of contact whether the load runs to Ohio, Texas or Calgary.

Below is what each trailer is built for and the freight it handles best. Send the commodity, weight and dimensions and we will confirm the right equipment and a rate the same business day.

Equipment & Services

Three trailer types. One dependable carrier.

Each runs cross-border and domestic. Pick the one that fits your freight — or tell us about the load and we will pick it for you.

Reefer / Temperature-Controlled

Cold-chain freight kept at set-point from pickup to delivery. Continuous temperature monitoring, food-grade trailers and multi-temp capability for produce, frozen, dairy, protein, beverages and pharma.

Continuous monitoring

Live temperatures with alerts and a downloadable record on request.

Food-grade & washout

Clean, odour-free trailers with washouts available for sensitive loads.

Multi-temp capable

Run two temperatures in one trailer for mixed cold and frozen freight.

Pre-cool & pulp checks

Trailer pre-cooled and product pulp temps verified at load.

Flatbed

Open-deck capacity for steel and coil, lumber and building products, pipe, machinery, crates and palletized freight — loaded by crane or forklift, tarped and secured to standard.

Secured to standard

Chains, binders, straps and edge protectors to NSC Standard 10 / DOT 393.

Tarps carried

Steel, lumber and smoke tarps on hand to keep weather off your load.

Coil-ready

Coil racks and load-specific blocking and bracing for heavy rolling freight.

Crane or forklift

Open deck loads and unloads from the side or top, on site or at dock.

Step Deck / Drop Deck

For loads too tall to ship legally on a flatbed. The lower deck buys you height, ramps let rolling and driving freight load itself, and we handle light over-dimensional moves with permits.

Height advantage

Lower deck ships taller freight inside legal limits without a permit.

Ramps available

Roll or drive equipment straight onto the lower deck.

Light oversize

Over-width or over-height moves arranged with permits and routing.

Same securement

Chains, straps and bracing rated to the load, same as flatbed.

The Same On Every Trailer

One standard, whichever deck your freight rides on.

The equipment changes with the load; the way we run it does not. Late-model tractors on a preventive-maintenance program, ELD and GPS on every power unit, and a dispatcher who actually calls you — on the reefer, the flatbed and the step deck alike.

That consistency is the point of using one asset-based carrier across all three. You learn how we communicate once, and it holds whether the load is frozen produce, a coil of steel or a tall machine on ramps.

“Pick the trailer for the freight — then expect the same carrier behind all three.
