Reefer · Flatbed · Step Deck — cross-border & domestic

About

About Airfield Trucking.

An asset-based carrier out of Bolton, Ontario, running reefer, flatbed and step-deck freight across the U.S.–Canada border and throughout Canada. We grew the way we want to keep running — by moving freight on time, load after load.

Our Story

The name is a promise about schedules.

Airfield Trucking started with an idea borrowed from aviation: freight should run the way an airfield runs — to a schedule, with discipline, and with safety treated as the floor rather than the goal. That is where the name and the wings come from. An airfield is a place where things arrive and depart on time, every time, or the whole system breaks down. Trucking is no different.

We are an asset-based carrier: our trucks, our trailers, our drivers. We did not grow by stacking brokers between us and the freight — we grew by buying equipment, hiring drivers, maintaining hard and showing up when we said we would. The first shippers and freight brokers who tried us came back because the load moved on time and a real person answered the phone. That is still the entire pitch.

From a terminal in Bolton, Ontario we cover the Greater Toronto Area, the Ontario–U.S. corridor, and lanes that reach deep into the United States and across the rest of Canada. Reefer, flatbed, step deck — cross-border and domestic, with the same standard of communication and care on every one.

How We Run

Three principles we do not bend on.

Everything we do on a load comes back to these. They are simple on purpose — simple is what holds up at 3 a.m. on a winter lane.

I

On-time is the product

A carrier sells one thing above all others: freight that arrives when it is supposed to. We pick up on schedule, keep you posted through transit and the border, and treat a missed appointment as a failure to fix — not a cost of doing business.

II

Treat every load like it’s high-value

We do not run a careful tier and a careless tier. Securement to standard, clean food-grade reefers, temperatures verified at load, tarps when the weather calls for them. Whether it is frozen produce or a coil of steel, it gets handled like it matters — because to your customer, it does.

III

Safety is not optional

Late-model tractors on a preventive-maintenance program, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, hours of service run by the book, and drivers paid and dispatched to take the safe option. CVOR, USDOT, MC and NSC on file. Safety is the floor we build the schedule on top of.

The Team

The people behind the freight.

One carrier, one point of contact, real people who answer the phone. Full team bios will be added — for now, here is who runs the operation.

OO

Owner & Operations

Owner / Operations

Sets the standard the rest of the company runs to: the right equipment, maintained hard, dispatched on a schedule. Stays close to the freight and close to the customer — because an asset-based carrier lives or dies on whether it actually delivers.

DL

Dispatch Lead

Dispatch / Lanes

Your point of contact from quote to delivery. Confirms capacity and a rate the same business day, books the right trailer to the freight, and keeps the check calls coming — so you are never left wondering where your load is.

SC

Safety & Compliance

Safety / Compliance

Keeps the equipment, the drivers and the paperwork in order — maintenance program, inspections, hours of service, CVOR, USDOT, MC and NSC, and cross-border processing done the right way so loads clear without surprises.

Team names and bios will be added here. To reach the operation today, call dispatch or send us a note from the contact page.

Where We Operate

Bolton, Ontario — built around the corridor.

Our terminal sits in Bolton, Ontario, on the northwest edge of the Greater Toronto Area — close to Highways 50, 410, 427 and 407. That puts us minutes from the 400-series network and a short run to the major U.S. border crossings, so freight gets onto the right highway fast instead of crawling out of the city first.

From here we cover the GTA and the Ontario–U.S. corridor every day, and we run lanes into the U.S. Midwest, Northeast and beyond, plus domestic Canada from Quebec and the Maritimes to the West. On a lane we do not run daily? Ask — we open new lanes for the right freight.
