Cross-Border Security

A trusted, vetted supply chain.

Cross-border freight is only as secure as the carrier moving it. We participate in the programs that keep your shipment low-risk and moving through customs — not flagged at the line.

CTPAT (U.S.)

Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism — a vetted, audited supply chain that earns expedited, lower-risk treatment entering the United States.

PIP (CBSA)

Partners in Protection — the Canada Border Services Agency’s secure-supply-chain program, the northbound counterpart to CTPAT.

FAST

Free and Secure Trade — pre-approved drivers and freight cleared in dedicated lanes at participating crossings.

Customs bonded

Bonded and in-bond capability for shipments that travel under bond to an inland port of entry for clearance.

Driver & Operational Safety

Qualified drivers, monitored operation.

Safe freight starts with the person behind the wheel and the systems behind dispatch. We hire, qualify and monitor to keep both clean.

ELD & hours-of-service

Electronic logging on every unit keeps hours-of-service compliant and accurate across the U.S.–Canada border — rested drivers, legal logs.

Drug & alcohol testing

A drug-and-alcohol testing program covering pre-employment, random, post-accident and reasonable-suspicion testing.

Driver qualification files

Complete DQ files with current licences, medicals and driving abstracts reviewed on a schedule — not just at hire.

CSA / SMS monitoring

Ongoing monitoring of our CSA / Safety Measurement System profile, so issues are caught and corrected early.

Pre-employment screening

Background, experience and reference checks before a driver carries a load for us — the right people on your freight.

Ongoing training

Continuing training on securement, cold-chain handling, border procedure and safe operation throughout a driver’s time with us.

Cargo & Food Safety

Handled like it matters, secured to standard.

Whether it is steel on a flatbed or frozen product in a reefer, the freight is secured, sealed and handled to a documented standard — so it arrives the way it left.

Securement to standard

Open-deck freight secured to NSC Standard 10 and DOT 393 — correct chains, straps, edge protection and tarping for the load.

Reefer cold-chain SOPs

Documented procedures for pre-cooling, set-point verification and continuous monitoring — the cold chain held from pickup to delivery.

FSMA-aware handling

Food-grade trailers and handling aware of FSMA Sanitary Transportation requirements for the food and produce we carry.

Seal & load integrity

Seal-application and verification procedures and load-integrity checks — so what was loaded is what arrives, and it shows.

Maintenance is part of compliance: daily NSC pre-trip and post-trip inspections, a current annual PMVI on every tractor and trailer, and a tracked preventive-maintenance program. Inspection and maintenance records are available on request — see our Equipment & Fleet page.
