Equipment & Fleet
Late-model trucks. Well-maintained trailers.
Reliable freight starts with reliable equipment. Airfield Trucking runs late-model tractors on a preventive-maintenance program, with reefer, flatbed and step-deck trailers inspected and ready to roll — so your load is not the one waiting on a breakdown.
Power Units
Tractors built to run, maintained to keep running.
As an asset-based carrier, every tractor is ours — specced, serviced and inspected to one standard. The capacity we quote is capacity we control.
Late-model tractors
A modern fleet of sleeper and day-cab tractors, turned over on a planned cycle so age and mileage stay in the dependable range — not run into the ground.
Preventive-maintenance program
Scheduled PM service at set intervals — engine, brakes, tires, lights and reefer units — tracked per unit so service happens before a part fails, not after.
ELD-equipped
Every power unit runs a compliant electronic logging device, keeping hours-of-service clean on both sides of the border and your freight moving inside the rules.
Satellite & real-time GPS
GPS on every truck for live location and ETAs from dispatch to delivery — so you and your customer always know where the load is.
Daily NSC pre-trip & post-trip
Drivers complete a daily NSC pre-trip and post-trip inspection on every unit, with defects reported and corrected before the next dispatch.
Annual safety inspection (PMVI)
Tractors and trailers carry a current annual safety inspection / PMVI, on top of routine PM — documentation available on request.
Trailer Fleet
Three trailer types, specced to the freight.

Technology & Tracking
Real visibility, from dispatch to delivery.
The systems on our trucks are there to give you and your customer answers without a phone call — live location, live temperatures and clean paperwork.
ELD & hours-of-service
Compliant electronic logging on every unit (provider to confirm), keeping hours-of-service accurate across the U.S.–Canada border.
Real-time GPS
Live truck location and ETAs throughout transit and at the border — shared with you and, where you want it, your customer.
Continuous reefer telemetry
Reefer set-point and return-air temperatures reported continuously, with alerts on excursions so the cold chain is caught the moment it moves.
Electronic proof of delivery
Signed POD captured and returned promptly, alongside temperature records for reefer loads — on request, every time.
Transportation management
A TMS behind dispatch keeps every load, document and check call in one place — so nothing falls through and history is there when you need it.
Broker EDI capability
EDI 204 / 214 / 210 capability for brokers who tender and track electronically (integration to confirm) — we will work to your platform.
Maintenance & Uptime
We maintain hard so we run on time.
A truck that is in the shop is not earning, and a load sitting on it is not moving. That is why preventive maintenance is scheduled, not reactive — PM intervals tracked per unit, daily inspections by drivers, and a current annual safety inspection on every tractor and trailer.
It is the un-glamorous part of the job, and it is exactly what keeps your freight off the shoulder and on schedule. Reliable equipment is the foundation everything else here is built on.
The Fleet
The trucks that pull your freight.
Late-model power units, kept clean and kept running. The capacity we quote is capacity we own — here is some of it.

Every unit carries daily NSC inspections, a current annual PMVI and our preventive-maintenance schedule. Inspection and maintenance records are available on request — see our Safety & Compliance page.
Spec Your Load
Not sure which trailer your freight needs?
Send your commodity, weight and dimensions and we will spec the right equipment — reefer, flatbed or step-deck — and come back the same business day with capacity and a rate.
