Airfield Trucking started with an idea borrowed from aviation: freight should run the way an airfield runs — to a schedule, with discipline, and with safety treated as the floor rather than the goal. That is where the name and the wings come from. An airfield is a place where things arrive and depart on time, every time, or the whole system breaks down. Trucking is no different.
We are an asset-based carrier: our trucks, our trailers, our drivers. We did not grow by stacking brokers between us and the freight — we grew by buying equipment, hiring drivers, maintaining hard and showing up when we said we would. The first shippers and freight brokers who tried us came back because the load moved on time and a real person answered the phone. That is still the entire pitch.
